Carrying on from my last blog post about how I believe CPD is very important and that you don't stand still, but striving forward improving and learning.  Well as part of that process, I continually enter some of my images into the national competitions with the Guild of Photographer and the Society of Wedding and portrait photographers (two different professional bodies) Finally last months results are in and I am very pleased to say I have received, One Gold, two Silvers and two Bronze from the Guild and Two Highly commended awards from the SWPP, not a bad month even if I say so myself.

I hope you like this commissioned piece of work below I completed it for Warrant Officer Chris Brooker,  (massive thanks to Chris for allowing me to share this image)   Chris had come to his retirement after 35 years of service to his country, he and his wife wanted to have something that could hang on their wall and be a permanent reminder of his career and dedication in the RAF.

I hope you noted that this is a commissioned piece of work and it is not just a competition image, This is the standard I like to give my clients, so if you would like to commission your own portrait, I would be delighted to hear from you and work with you to give you a gold winning awarded image to hang proudly on your wall at home or work.
