Here is a recent “Business Headshot” I took in my Swindon studio which I’m pleased to say is now the front of this clients personal C.V and Business Portfolio as part of his “Image branding”. What are your thoughts about this field of work?

Photography is for everyone and I’m all for the friends, family and selfie stuff - the more the better!  Have you noticed though, as I have, that our “digital footprint” seems to be forever increasing and we seem to be getting all sorts of new words and phrases such as the infamous “Digital Footprint,” such a thing as a “Business Headshot” and perhaps some “Image Branding”?

Are we now “Headhunted” with the aid of a “Business Headshot?”

As a professional photographer, I’m very aware that we are all able to access more and more images at the click of a button.  Social media sites, dating sites and the fun they all bring seem to be forever increasing, but there are also serious professional platforms such as LinkedIn and of course business websites, all displaying digital images.

I love the fun stuff but clearly, there is a more serious and professional side and that’s where the “Business Headshot” image is so important.  In this fast-moving world of technology its fair to say that more and more decisions are much more instant and often based on 1st impressions. The impact of what the “1st click” brings is massively important in the business world and the first impression you give is crucial.

If the subject matter is you in a professional context, then the quality of the image is vital. Let’s be honest, in today's world the slightly blurred selfie, the girls’ night out, the one with the lads at the pub, the one with the big fish you caught or the one with your car or motorbike just aren’t appropriate. So what is?

That’s when the services of a professional photographer are essential. You are making a statement and demonstrating your professional abilities and that’s why it’s so important you are supported by a professional photographer, trained, qualified and experienced to give you the perfect image. The image that stands out on the first click, the one that gives the right impression you so much deserve.  Don’t leave it to chance and please beware the unqualified “professional photographer” or self-proclaimed “specialist". They aren’t qualified for a reason!

I’m qualified to Master Craftsman level and hold a Fellowship in portraiture, both qualifications being from the recognised Industry professional bodies. This put me in the top 2% in the country in terms of the professional qualifications I hold and the proof positive is in the number of awards I’ve been able to win. Have a look at my website;  www.clivehallphotography.co.uk

Don’t leave such an important part of your professional world to chance, for just £99 I’ll bring all of the expertise and experience and work with your personal instructions to give you a perfect “headshot” either in my studio or by arrangement at a location of your choice.

If you have any questions or would like to know more, just give me a call.
